The 2015 season is already not without controversy. Should F1 be ruled only by talent.....or is the ability to deliver recognition to sponsors also important? Quite a discussion happening in the various F1 communities around the appointment of Carmen Jorda and her talent.

Any thoughts? - https://www.facebook.com/LiveF1chat/posts/10153072382119337

TV Streaming has already changed tv as we know it......

wow....talk about media consultants being out of touch, internet streaming has already DRAMATICALLY changed tv viewing (and more importantly the way tv is funded and developed......which even if it hit Clare Harding she obviously wont even notice).

facebook really winding down who can see posts......but now added "Post targetting"

I know we’ve all heard that Facebook are really tightening up how many people see your posts…..but saw something really interesting today when posting to www.Facebook.com/LiveFootballChat.com ,you now have the ability to “target” who’s feed your posts get sent to.

They have shitty targeting criteria (eg should have visited in last 7/30/90 days or Liked 5+/20+50+ posts etc)

I’m assuming you are meant to be using this targeting in order to increase “post interaction” to drive up your ratio (I don’t see it working though…...)

Basically I hold little hope of Facebook bringing users to the various www.LiveFanChat.com/sites , will still post content there...but realistically direct email is the best channel to work with these days....taking out bat and ball and going home :)

Appointment TV

Read an interesting column from Tom Butts  the editor of www.tvtechnology.com in the 15th of Oct magazine around the term "appointment tv"

I cant find a copy of the article online but if you can get a copy and have an interest in social tv .....well worth the read.
